Skills NS/SCNC 2021-23
For 3 years I had participated in the Skills Nova Scotia competition for photography, and had won gold every year in high school. I am a 3x champ and representative for Team Nova Scotia in the National Skills Canada Competition. In May of 2023 I was able to attend the in person national competition in Winnipeg with Team Nova Scotia. Since the pandemic I couldn't attend the national competitions the first 2 years. Although I did not win another medal in Nationals, I met so many amazing people and created life long friends and memories, and leanred some amazing skills. Team Nova Scotia became such a safe place. And I was also honoured to participate in 2024 for post secondary.
